6th grade students had the opportunity to enter the BYU Sports Hero Day Essay Contest. Their topic was, "Who is Your Hero and Why?" We had so many students do an amazing job. Our school winners were 1st place and $100 - Marley Summerhays, 2nd place and $50 - Summer Lyman, 3rd place and $25 - Howard Anderson, with honorable mentions and $10 each for Zak Fowles, Macie Ransom, Emma Kunzler, Alice Wilson, and Tikani Anderson.
