7th Graders Draw Chalk Cells to Demonstrate Learning

Submitted by bart.thompson on

Seventh grade scientists ran to and fro to find an empty sidewalk space to draw their sidewalk chalk cells. Fun was had by all as they drew using every color of the rainbow to show their teachers that they knew their stuff when it came to cells and their organelles. Students were then given the opportunity to compare and contrast their cells to figure out how plant and animal cells are similar and how they are different. Great drawings were seen up and down the sidewalks of DFJHS! Go Diamondbacks!
