Students play their own version of chess with mirrors and lasers in STEM.
Come support these amazing students and see their performance this week! Tickets can be purchased at the front office during the day, or with cash at the door.
This is the PTSA's only fundraiser for the year. The donations received go toward materials and equipment needed for classrooms, the Reflections program, fitness day, art programs, and much more. The funds also support Staff Appreciation week, PTC dinners, and teacher birthdays.
There is a box in every math classroom into which students can deposit their envelopes/notes/slips. The boxes will be emptied each day after school and a tally will be counted. There will be rewards for the top three classes that return the most signed notes/slips.
Ms. Schwenke's 6th Grade Science classes had a population simulation where students tracked rabbits and wolves. The wolves were represented with sticky notes and rabbits as beads. Way to go!

Jennifer A. Neilson, the author of the Ascendance series, visited DFMS today. We cannot thank her enough for taking the time to speak with our students and encouraging them to follow their dreams! It was inspiring to see her connect with individual students.
