DFJHS Food Drive a "HUGE" Success!

Submitted by mike.sorensen on

Because of the amazing support of our students, community, and faculty the food drive was a huge success. Our school raised over 30,000 food items, more than 150 blankets and sleeping bags, and over $3,000 for our local food bank. We easily surpassed our school goal of raising 25,000 food items. The food bank would like to sincerely thank everyone at our school for participating, and a special thank you to all those fun-loving, competitive faculty members who make our school's food drive such a good time.

Mrs. White's Art Foundations I class has created some amazing pictures. Students "morphed" two animals together to create some cool combinations and very colorful artwork. Thanks for decorating our hallways!
