Rodeo Clowns and Bull-y Blockers

Submitted by sarah.blackhurst on

Professional Bull Fighters and rodeo clowns JJ Harrison and Joe Butler along with The Fiesta Days Rodeo Committee and reigning Queens brought much excitement, entertainment and encouragement to DFJHS Thursday morning. They presented their message to our student body about friendship and the importance of treating others fairly as "Bull-y blockers!"

Our student body was also surprised to learn that our own Principal, Mr. Peterson was a bit of a cowboy himself and even treated us to a throwing of the rope!

Our Diamondbacks were surprised during lunch time today with a flash mob featuring "The Circle of Life" from our school's upcoming production of The Lion King Jr. Check out how amazing the cast and crew look! We cannot wait for you to come see the full production next week, here at DFJHS!
