Where Our Students Have Voice: The Snake Pit!
Once a term, each Team Time sends a representative to the Snake Pit. Our Leadership class meets with these representatives and gather ideas to share with Mrs. Burr on ways to improve our school!
DFMS Competes at the Nebo Poetry Slam
Our three top DFMS Poetry Slam winners competed in the Nebo Poetry Slam Contest. Representing the only middle school students in the competition Orion Bateman, Kaitlyn Eyring, and Layla Sheratt amazed the audience with their poetry performances.
Poetry Slam Winners
Last week the Language Arts classes participated in a Poetry Slam contest. Our class winners were McKay Beattie, Kaitlyn Eyring, Aspen Stickney, Julia Mockett, Orion Bateman, Seth Carlson, and Layla Sherratt.
Spring Student Art Show
This group of students has been selected to be in the Spring Student Art Show at the Covey Center in Provo. The Art Show will run from May 5th - May 31st. We are proud of our students and grateful for their talent.

7th Grade Poetry Slam
7th Grade held a Poetry Slam where students performed from each period an original poem. All participants received a two liter of soda pop! The top three winners of the competition will move on to the Nebo District Poetry Slam!
