We celebrated Hispanic and Caribbean Culture Week today by playing musical chairs. It got very entertaining and very competitive which was fun to watch.

We celebrated Hispanic and Caribbean Culture Week today by playing musical chairs. It got very entertaining and very competitive which was fun to watch.
Students loved the science field trip today where they went bug hunting at Lincoln Beach.
This week we will be celebrating Hispanic and Caribbean Cultures. Students will have the opportunity to participate in fun lunchtime activities and challenges as we celebrate these cultures.
Tuesday - Loteria (bingo)
Wednesday - Arts and Crafts - Mexican Paper Flowers
Thursday - Dance and Musical Chairs
Friday - Pinatas
This Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30pm parents may come and visit with teachers. All teachers will be seated alphabetically in the two main gyms. Special Ed teachers will be in their classrooms.
Each week our service learning students go to tutor and work with students at Larsen Elementary.

Can your tower survive an earthquake? Students had a great time today engineering towers and testing them on the shake table in Mrs. Tuttle's class.
Mr. Evans nailed it today for the Mountain Men Presentation. He always goes above and beyond for his students.
All 7th grade scientists at DFMS went through an introduction to physics station lab moving from cars to billiard balls. These bright eyed students spent their time figuring out the relationship between mass, force and acceleration. "This is fun!" was an oft repeated phrase said throughout the day. Seventh grade science will continue to learn more about physics and Newton's three laws of motion throughout the next several weeks. Let's go, Diamondbacks!!
