Thanks to a partnership between the Utah State Board of Education and Donors Choose offering $1000 grants to ever teacher, every day has been feeling like a teacher's Christmas morning with packages arriving daily. DFMS teachers have taken advantage of this opportunity and it shows! 

The students of our STAND 4 KIND group hosted a Kindness Week with lunchtime games, kindness notes, and daily announcements reminding students of the importance of being kind. Thank you to our counselor Mr. McKell for working with our students. 

Ms. Gibbons shared a sneak peak into a practice session of our amazing students playing the roles of orphans for the upcoming Annie production. Mrs. Gardiner is such an amazing and talented choreographer and we love having a dance room for rehearsals. Our star director Ms. Gibbons has put together a super talented cast and faculty assistants for show that is sure to be a Diamond Fork hit!

Red Show Living means that every day you metaphorically think of your self as wearing red shoes. Be willing to stand out- stand out for being kind. The Pillars of Red Shoe Living are 1. Awareness (looking for opportunities to be kind) 2. Gratitude 3. Everyone has a Story 4. Respect and Kindness During Covid, Mr. Mayne has coined "Red Shoe Rising"- be willing to step in, step through, and step up!
