The fine arts assembly was fantastic.
We want to congratulate this month's Student of the month for December.
Christmas dress up days next week!!
Mr. Burke did an incredible job tonight with all of his choir students at their holiday concert!
Our orchestra, led by Mrs. Drager, performed beautifully in their concert! Congratulations on all of their hard work!
Last night's band concert was spectacular! Thank you Mr. Bigler for putting it all together and getting them ready!
Diamond Fork Middle School is proud to continue our Christmas Angel Giving Tree tradition. This program helps students and families in our area with needed Christmas gifts. DFMS parents, students, and staff have the opportunity to help a child in need of clothing items - shirts, jackets, pants, or shoes.
Gift Tag Ornaments are placed on the Christmas Tree in the counseling office with the name of a gift needed, including the size. Often there will be other information included such as type, style, or color preferred. This is to help the buyer know more about the wishes of that particular student.
Families who would like to purchase an Angel Tree gift will follow these steps: 1. Pick an ornament from the tree and write down your name and ornament # on the list in the counseling office, 2. Take home the ornament and buy the indicated gift, and 3. Take the gift to the counseling office with the ornament taped to the gift.
We appreciate your help in providing Christmas gifts to our students in need. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you!
With so many wonderful things going on around our school we thought it would be fun to share some of them!
This month's ALL IN award goes to.....Mrs. Melanie Jensen!! Thank you for being all in and someone we can count on!
The winner of this year's food drive is . . . the Utah Valley Emergency Food Bank! Thanks to each of you, our school is donating $5,623.59 and over 7,000 pounds of food! Thank you Mr. Buck for organizing another amazing food drive to help all those in need!
Friday is the last day for the DFMS Thanksgiving Drive! Our 7th period classes are in competition for the TOP TEN! But who will walk away with 1st place? Money can be donated through Success Fund using the QR code, or brought to the front office. We've got this, Diamondbacks!
Our Native American students impressed their peers during the 7th grade Native American Heritage Assembly this week! While a few of our dancers have performed for years, several learned to dance for this assembly. We are also grateful to Eileen Quintana, Program Director for Title Vi Indian Education in Nebo, for the information she shared with our students.
Mr. Burke's Concert Choir was invited to perform the National Anthem at the UVU Wolverines Women's Volleyball game on 11/16. They not only did a great job, but they also had a great time at the game! Nice work, Diamondbacks!
We are so proud of our November Students of the Month!
It's time for our annual Thanksgiving Donations drive to support our community! All donations go to Utah Food Bank, Tabitha's Way, and Nebo School District pantries. We are accepting canned food, dry goods, toiletries, or money.
Our school has been the top contributor to Utah Food Bank for several years. Together, let's spread gratitude and compassion this season!
Send items with your student to 7th period or drop them at the front office. Monetary donations can be brought to the office or donated by QR code above.
