Plan for College and Career Readiness (PCCR)

In today's global economy, preparing each student for educational progress is the gateway to better lifetime opportunities. Through the Utah School Counseling Program Model, school counselors inspire all students to prepare for educational choices through individual student planning, career pathways, and career literacy.

These individual student planning meetings are called Plans for College and Career Readiness (PCCR).  We meet with each 7th grade student and their parents to discuss preparation for junior high school, high school, and college.  These meetings help prepare students and parents as they begin making junior high and high school course and activity choices.

Please go to the DFMS website, click on the Counseling Office tab, scroll down to find the PCCR information.  Please click on the Sign-Up Genius tab under the counselor assigned to your last name.  We have meetings available for daytime and evening hours to accommodate parent work schedules.  Each PCCR meeting will last approximately 15 minutes.
