Congratulations Mrs. Banks

Our very own Mrs. Banks recently attended the Assembly on Literature for the Adolescents conference put on by the National Council of Teachers of English in St. Louis, Missouri.  Mrs. Banks was the recipient of the Gallo Grant award, given to only two teachers in the United States. She was presented with the award at the Saturday morning breakfast and the first session of the conference on Monday. Authors Rick Riordan and Neal Schusterman were the keynote speakers at the breakfast. She also received a box of 50 new YA books for attending, of which some were Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs), meaning they won't be released until sometime in 2018. We are so proud of Mrs. Banks and are lucky to have her here at Diamond Fork. While in St. Louis she was also able to visit the famous St. Louis Arch as well as eat some true mid-western BBQ. Way to go Mrs. Banks!
