Girls Basketball

The Lady Diamondbacks of Diamond Fork Junior High School have had an amazing year in basketball. After loosing their first game by quite a large margin, the Lady Diamondbacks knew they had their work cut out for them this season. They did not get discouraged, but instead squared their shoulders, kept their chins high, and made determination their number one attribute. As the season progressed, the Lady Diamondbacks worked hard and began to see the fruits of their labors as they began defeating teams. This only fueled their determination more. The team was lead by wonderful team captains, Tiffany Gomm, Britlee Anderson, and Rachel Atkinson, who were selected by their teammates. Each member of the Lady Diamondbacks played a contributing factor in every game. It did not matter if they were a starter or a sub off the bench, each girl gave it her best every time she was in the game. The Lady Diamondbacks played together as a team. In the end, the Lady Diamondbacks became Co-District Champions with a Nebo District record of 7-3. Congratulations to a great season Lady Diamondbacks!
