Welcome Mr. Hansen

I am excited to join Diamond Fork Junior High.  This is my 12th year teaching and cannot wait to teach 8th grade science.   I spent my early life in Oregon, where I was raised and ended up in Utah to attend BYU (I really just wanted better snow). I received my education from BYU, UVSC, and SUU.  I continue to better my understanding of what I teach and still consider myself a student.

Welcome Mr. Rogers

My name is Shawn Rogers. I am teaching US History and I am a first year teacher. I am from Utah, I lived in Spanish Fork until about 8th grade, and then moved to Lehi where I graduated High School. I then went on to Utah State University. I love to make videos and play guitar. I got married in January 2018 at my wife's family farm in a barn. Teaching is something I have wanted to do since I was 16 and I have never thought twice about it. I am very excited to be a part of the Diamond Fork team!

Welcome Ms. Gatherum

My name is Lexie Gatherum and I am so excited to be a part of DFJHS! I am originally from Cedar City and I graduated from Brigham Young University. I love to stay active by going swimming and hiking. I completed my first Spartan race this summer and look forward to completing more next year. I love to cook and bake. That is one of the many reasons I decided to become a FACS teacher. And I am excited to announce that after October 13th, instead of Miss Gatherum you can call me Mrs. Harr;) I love teaching and can’t wait for an awesome school year!
