Here at DFJHS we strive to learn and live by 5 core values; Respect, Compassion, Courage, Integrity, and Perseverance. This past week students spent time watching videos pertaining to and discussing the values. After watching a short video, teachers were able to facilitate quality discussions on the values that were in the videos. At the end of the week we hosted a poster contest where students were able to illustrate and represent the core values as a group or team. Posters were submitted and winners selected. Congratulations to the following teams on a job well done:
Congratulations to Keirra Oyler for taking 4th place in the State Patriot's Pen essay contest sponsored by the VFW! She is the first person from Spanish Fork to place at the state level. Thanks for positively representing Diamond Fork Jr. and the community of Spanish Fork! Keep up the good work Keirra!
