All in for Each Learner
Our 6th graders got to attend BYU Sports Hero Day today, participating with college athletes in lacrosse, rugby, swimming, track, football, soccer, and more. Students heard motivational speeches and got a visit from Cosmo!
6th grade students had the opportunity to enter the BYU Sports Hero Day Essay Contest. Their topic was, "Who is Your Hero and Why?" We had so many students do an amazing job. Our school winners were 1st place and $100 - Marley Summerhays, 2nd place and $50 - Summer Lyman, 3rd place and $25 - Howard Anderson, with honorable mentions and $10 each for Zak Fowles, Macie Ransom, Emma Kunzler, Alice Wilson, and Tikani Anderson.
Congratulations to our January Students of the Month winners. We are so lucky to have so many great students. These students are amazing examples of friendship, kindness, and overall being great helpers in their classrooms. Our students of the month are Rodrigo Anda, Jenna Cloward, Sadey Deveraux, Lincoln Dibba, Ivy Fox, Angel Garza Casillas, Ethan Johnson, Ryan Jones, Archer McGraw, Alicia Medrano Ruiz, Tara Okerlund, and James Sitterud.
