Susan Anderson, one of our amazing 9th grade English teachers was recognized at the school board meeting as a recipient of this award. Susan is such an outstanding educator who cares deeply for her students. She is fun, outgoing, and her classroom is a great place to learn. She sings "Happy Birthday" to each of her students as well as writes them a personalized birthday poem.

End of Term 3

This Thursday, March 15th is the last day of 3rd term. Please sit down with your student and go over their SIS gradebook and see what you can do to help them make a plan to finish up the next few days strong! It's not too late to get a better understadning of a concept during Etime, or work on test corrections. We still have enough time to make improvement!

Lost & Found

  • As a school we have collected quite a lost and found pile in the front office. We will be announcing all week for students to check if they are missing a coat, jacket, backpack, or notebook. On Friday, March 16th we will be taking all of the items left and donating them to a local thrift store. Please ask your child to check that if you feel you are missing something.

We recently celebrated 13 of our amazing students at a breakfast here at school. Teachers talked about why they nominated these great kids, and parents were able to share about them as well. It is one of our favorite things we do each month, we LOVE to celebrate our students! Thanks to all of those who came and helped out, we will do it again next month!
