Happy Valentines Day from the PTSA!

Submitted by bart.thompson on

Our DFJHS PTSA has been quietly working diligently behind the scenes for the past several weeks to ensure every student at DFJHS had a great Valentine's Day!  Students came into 1st Period this morning to find a home-made valentine sitting on their desk waiting for them!  Thank you so much for all the efforts, PTSA!

BYU Shakespearean Team Visits DFJHS with a Skateboarding Hamlet

Submitted by bart.thompson on

The BYU Shakespearean team came to DFJHS today to perform for our 9th graders.  They perfomed Hamlet, with a twist.  Hamlet, Horatio and Ophelia as skateboarders? Sure! Why not?

It was entertaining and made Shakespeare accessible to our students!  Thanks for coming!

The award is administered by the Communications and Community Relations Department. This month, our very own Mrs. Sandy Caceres was recognized for all she does for DFJHS!  She is amazing, and we're grateful to have her on our team!
