All in for Each Learner
Congrrats to our November Students of the Month! Thanks for being such a great example of what it means to be a Diamondback.
We are celebrating Native American Heritage week. Today students played traditional Native American games during lunch.
To wrap up Hope Week all Diamondbacks were challenged to "Take a deep breath and tell yourself everything will be ok". Students earned tickets throughout the week by participating in activities and wearing colors to help support Hope Week. The tickets were then put in a bucket and names were drawn to participate in the Doughnut Eating contest at lunch.
A big shout out to Hope Squad and Mr. Mundinger for making this an excellent Hope Week!
On Thursday Hope Squad challenged everyone in the school to "reach out to somebody you haven't heard from in a while". At lunch, students competed in a bean bag toss, and we were encouraged to wear bright colors to help light up the entire school!
Today for Hope Week students wore red to represent kindness, participated in frisbee golf at lunch, and were challenged to "Pay it forward: Share a smile, hold the door open, invite others to have lunch with you".
On Tuesday our 6th-grade science classes got to explore space! Thanks to Clark Planetarium for visiting and bringing us meteorites to hold!
On Tuesday students competed in a lunchtime basketball competition. We also wore yellow to represent hope and we were challenged to "Befriend someone we don't know and learn their name".
Today during lunch students competed in cup stacking! The entire school was challenged to "Be Happy and See the Good
in Others"
