Rattler Rally for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
Thanks to our amazing DFMS PTA for our Bon Voyage Themed Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! Students lined the halls today for our Rattler Rally to cheer for their teachers!
Ms. Randall Wins the Faculty ALL IN Award This Month!
Our amazing teacher, Ms. Randall, was January's ALL IN Award winner nominated by last month's recipient, Mrs. Anderson. Ms. Randall teaches 6th grade English and brings her love of writing and literature into her classroom every day with her amazing energy and sense of humor.
Native American Guest Speaker for 7th Grade Utah Studies
Cameron Gilmore came to speak to our 7th grade student during their Utah Studies class. He taught the students about Native American culture and specifically Navajo culture including the concept of Hozho or balance.
Mr. Ryan's Literature and Film Class Participates in Student Sundance Film Festival
Our Literature and Film class were able to view the documentary Sundance film, The Longest Goodbye, about space travel. The next day students joined in on a Zoom question and answer session with the film's directors.
