During the month of February, we'd like to 'fix you up' with a blind date--a book of course, this is coming from the school library! We'll select a variety of books, wrap them all up in 'oh so secretive' Valentine paper and you won't know the 'identity' of your blind date till you get it home. Will it be fiction or non-fiction? Funny, informative, a mystery, true-crime???
Sure you might be disappointed; but then again ... you may end up having a great read with something you wouldn't have chosen for yourself. With each book is a 'Rate a Date' slip. Simply say whatever you want about your date, you won't hurt our, or its, feelings.
Even if your date turns out to be a 'dud,' all is not lost. With each slip you return, you can enter our raffle for some nifty prizes - like yummy chocolate treat (or another treat available). Stop by the library anytime between now and February 28th to check out a neatly wrapped book. Who knows, you might get lucky, and “fall in love” with reading and literature.
