Diamond Fork Jr High is getting a brand new after school club, our first chime choir! Chime choir consists of hand chimes that are tuned to a specific pitch. Each ringer is assigned two notes and we learn how to play the right notes at the right time. Put it all together and you get beautiful music. Seems simple, right? Not so fast. Each ringer must work with the group as a whole in order for it to work. Music experience is helpful, but not necessary- you will learn what you do not already know! Rehearsal will be held Tuesdays after school. If there is enough interest, a second day will be added. Ms. Scott will be leading the choir and she is a member of the Bell Choir on Temple Square.
