This past weekend, the DFJHS Shakespeare Team traveled to Cedar City for the annual Shakespeare Competition. There were over 100 schools, and 3,700 students participating in the event. Our Diamondback Thespians did amazing work!
Their Ensemble scene took 1st Place out of 26 junior high schools!
The whole team placed 2nd OVERALL in the Stratford division.
Additionally, Autumn Sansom placed 3rd place (out of 78 competitors) with her monologue performance!
Congratulations to each and every member of the team! Your hard work definitely paid off!
They will be performing all of their pieces this Wednesday evening at 7pm here at DFJHS on the stage in the cafetorium. Stop by and be amazed!
