Competing in Science Olympiad events such as "Storm the Castle" (trebuchet), "Reach for the Stars" (astronomy), "Microbe Mission," and more, DFJHS students demonstrated their science knowledge and abilities on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at the regional competition held at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.
Diamond Fork Jr. High students made frequent appearances on the winners' podium. In fact, every student on the team earned at least one medal! The DFJHS team also received the sportsmanship award and is coached by science teacher Sharon Myia.
