Each year, Diamond Fork Junior High School participates in a Make-A-Wish Fundraiser to raise money to sponsor a "Wish Kid." This year, we have the AMAZING opportunity to raise money for a member of our Diamondback Family!

Meet Remington! He is the grandson of our very own Mr. Dennis Olsen.  He was diagnosed with a brain tumor this past August, and has since undergone surgery to remove the tumor. He is also undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants.  He's an amazing little guy, and we are so honored to be able to help him and his family to find some joy through this difficult time.

There are several ways to support our Make-A-Wish Week(s) and Remington.  Here are just a few:

1- Purchase a Wristband--They are $1.00 each and will be available throughout the next couple of weeks (or until we sell out)

2- Attend the Make-A-Wish Ball--We will have our annual Make-A-Wish Ball on Thursday, February 13th from 6-8pm. It is BEST DRESS! Cost is $3.00 with ID, or $5.00 without.

3- Teacher Challenge Jars--Many (if not all) of our teachers will be offering to do ridiculous, embarrassing, awkward, gross, daring or silly dares if the school raises a minimum of $4000.  Each teacher will have a jar in their classroom for you to contribute to.  Drop your spare change or dollars into whichever challenge jar you most want to see!

4- Donations to the Office--If parents or businesses would like to contribute to our cause, you are welcome to stop by the front office to contribute. We can't do this without your support, so we welcome donations of any amount!

Remington loves animals, and as a result has a Wish to travel to San Diego to visit the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. It is our wonderful opportunity to help make this Wish come true!  So, let's show Remington and his family what DFJHS is all about!
