National Junior Honor Society

At Diamond Fork Junior High School the National Junior Honor Society is making friendship bracelets to sell and raise money for a Veteran’s nursing home being built in Payson to provide services to Veterans and their spouses.

Glen Bradford, past commander of the American Legion, is in charge of fundraising efforts for the Veteran’s home.  He came to the National Junior Honor Society and asked for their help in raising money for the home. All of the money raised will go toward completing the home and furnishing the rooms to make it comfortable for Veterans to live.

“We just want to help the community” honor society member Chris Wyllie commented.  The bracelets will begin selling the week of April 15 before and after school at Diamond Fork Junior High in front of Melinda Barber’s room #22.
