I am excited to join Diamond Fork Junior High. This is my 12th year teaching and cannot wait to teach 8th grade science. I spent my early life in Oregon, where I was raised and ended up in Utah to attend BYU (I really just wanted better snow). I received my education from BYU, UVSC, and SUU. I continue to better my understanding of what I teach and still consider myself a student.
I have a wonderful wife who is also an educator and 4 semi-wonderful kids. We spend much of our time outdoors, either boating, camping, mountain biking, skiing and farming. We have had a great summer filled with travel and adventure. I am sad to see Summer come to an end, but look forward to what the autumn and winter have to offer. Everywhere I look, I can see the implications of the science that I teach and my world is richer because that.
