Darren Major, a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and a well know music composer and friend of Mrs. Lewis, let our Diamond Fork Choir be the first to perform his newest Christmas compostions tonight at our Christmas concert. The beautiful "One Baby Boy, " Bethlehem," and "O Come Emanuel" brought the Christmas spirit to the audience in this inspirational choir concert.  Mr. Majors was a special guest at the concert this evening to hear our choir members perform his work. He was thrilled with their performance.

A sense of humor, ties, kindness, and being a student favorite. These are just a few of the qualities that describe Mr. Dennis Olsen, math teacher here at Diamond Fork. Mr. Olsen is such a deserving recipient of the Crystal Apple Award. He is a fantastic teacher, but he is an even better person. We are so fortunate to have him here at Diamond Fork, and seriously check out the ties, they are awesome!

The students were able to interact with fellow students and hear from some great speakers who talk about sportsmanship, leadership, and a variety of other topics.

She was presented with the award at the Saturday morning breakfast and the first session of the conference on Monday. Authors Rick Riordan and Neal Schusterman were the keynote speakers at the breakfast.
