7th graders had a hair-raising experience in class today as they learned about static electricity and how atoms work.
Our Leadership Class organized a presentation for Nebo School Board on all the ways that students and teachers take care of each other at Diamond Fork Middle School, emphasizing giving students voice, choice, bonding, serving, and social emotional skills. By taking care of of overall well being, Diamond Fork increases learning. Students shared the way we begin our days with a Mindfulness Minute and end our days with gratitude and a Happiness Hunt. They told the board about the Snake Pit where students have an opportunity to bring their ideas to the table for ways we can improve the school.
Stand4Kind always puts together the best assemblies. Ben Kjar and Pool House Band taught about the importance of loving yourself so you can love others.
We are so proud of the Drama class and the performance they put on last Wednesday for their parents. We have a school full of talented kids.
