May1- May 4 Block Schedule

Submitted by mike.sorensen on

We will be switching over to a "block" schedule this Tuesday May 1- Friday May 4 to accommodate for our end of the year tests. This schedule will allow longer class periods in order to give students more uninterrupted time to take the assessments. We encourage students to get extra sleep, eat a good breakfast, and do their best!

Make-A-Wish Assembly

Submitted by mike.sorensen on

What a fantastic assembly! Teachers ate Wasabi, kissed pigs and chickens, had their make up done by blindfolded students, held dance-offs, ate worms, and much more. The best part was having our Make-A-Wish student here at school to be recognized by the students. She was the hit of it all and we are thrilled to have been a part of her wish coming true! It is great to be a Diamondback!

THANK YOU!

The school Make-A-Wish Ball was a huge success last night! Thanks to Mr. Claybaugh and all those who helped in making these last two weeks so amazing as we have raised money for Make-A-Wish. Our goal to begin was to earn $1000, we surpassed that goal by a long way! Thanks to the generosity of our students and community DFJHS raised $2,089.19! THANK YOU to all who were kind and donated. We are excited for our Make-A-Wish assembly coming up on Monday, April 23rd at 8 AM.
