Make-A-Wish Ball Special Guests

Submitted by brenda.burr on

The Diamond Fork Make-A-Wish Ball was a huge success. Our wish child three-year-old Ryver was our special guest. As a surprise for Ryver, who came dressed as Elsa, we had Princess Anna there to greet her. Ryver's favorite princesses are Elsa and Anna from Frozen. Anna led Ryver and the students in a singing of "The First Time in Forever, " "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman," and "Let It Go." We raised almost $1,000 at the ball to help grant Ryver's wish.

Team Week Fun!

Last week our students participated in "Team Week" each day instead of going to E-Time. We have done this at the beginning of each term as a way to build unity and enjoysome fun activities with classmates. Students were in class learning about our Make-A-Wish week and then playing games like crab soccer, volleyball, and running tic tac toe.
