All 7th and 8th grade students took a test to qualify for the National Geography Bee. The following students were the top ten finalists. Students who are a part of Team Serve helped out last week at Park Elementary. Can you guess which subject they helped the students in?

Mrs. Poulsen was featured in the January Nebo News as one of thi month's recognized Nebo Heroes! She certainly is a hero who is devoted to DIamond Fork! 

Mrs. Anderson did her happy book dance yesterday as members of the Nebo Foundation came with a check for her to buy a class set of a new novel that she has been dying to teach her students! A big thank you to the Nebo Foundation for all they do to help our students! 

When the actors all come down with food posioning, it is the stage crew that takes on the lead roles for Cinderella, including stagehand Steve as the wicked stepmother! 

Samuel Moss and Abby Green represented Diamond Fork in front of the Nebo School Board tonight. The Board includes students each month in their Board meetings to find out how the students feel about the important issues of education. 

Students from the Shakespeare class performed famous lines from Shakespeare, monologues, ensembles and more in their last performances from of our Shaespeare class! 

Drama students portrayed the mixed emotions that come with deciding how to handle expectations (our boxes) of others with hope for making your own future. 

The drama students showed us that what happened after the Happily Ever After might be surprising! 

Our January 2019 Students of the Month were recognized this week at a breakfast held in honor of them and their accomplishments. Teachers from our Science department selected students in their classes who represent our Diamond Fork Values. Parents were also invited to help share good things about their student. It was a great morning to hear about some of the amazing students we have here at Diamond Fork. The following students were recognized:
