All in for Each Learner
Teachers of our faculty book club zoomed in with the authors, Joe and Dardi Hendershot, of the book "Seven Ways to Transform the Lives of Wounded Students." The book club was inspired by learning strategies that can change the lives of students who have experienced trauma, build an empathetic school culture, and a school wide sense of safety and community.
The Utah County Health Department has asked us to share the attached document (Links below). It contains information about their updated process for using the “Automatic Contact Tracing” system to notify parents of 6-12 grade families about potential COVID-19 exposure and quarantine. They will also use this system on a more limited basis in K-5 grades.
On our last day of Hello Week! we celebrated by wearing our school shirts to show unity and remind us that we are all Diamond Backs. It was a great week of meeting new people and coming together. Shout out to our Leadership class for putting this amazing week together.
Mrs. Parker's class made posters and brought them to the Spanish Fork Police and Fire Departments to thank them for all they have done for our community. We are so grateful for the sacrifices of our local heroes. Here are some pictures:
