Sarah Insalaco Olsen has been playing every stringed instrument she could get a hold of since the age of 10. Her teachers at Diamond Fork Junior High, Spanish Fork Junior High, and Spanish Fork High School were understanding enough to let her switch instruments almost every year, and her passion for music grew. She pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Music at Snow College where she played multiple instruments in multiple ensembles while also writing music for these ensembles as well as for theater, game, and film projects. While tutoring music theory students in college, Sarah discovered her love for teaching and decided to pursue a music education license through Weber State University. Sarah loves writing music for film with her husband, playing rock music with a professional string quartet around Utah, and inspiring a passion for music in her orchestra students.
