School Soft Closure Update—March 23
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.” Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:

We survived the first week of school dismissal, and the end of 3rd Term! Congratulations!
To celebrate, we want to invite you all to join students from around the State of Utah in a VIRTUAL School Spirit Week! To participate, snap a photo of you each day wearing the following clothes and post it to Instagram using the hashtag #utahschoolspirit and tag Diamond Fork (@official_diamond_fork_jr).

VIRTUAL High 5 Friday
Fridays at DFJHS have become known as High 5 Fridays this year. Well, that doesn't seem to be the best of ideas at this point in time... However, we don't want to lose our social connectedness, despite "Social Distancing." So, we're doing a VIRTUAL High 5 Friday on Instagram!
