The first "Student of the Month" breakfast was held today at Diamond Fork as 13 students were recognized for being amazing kids and outstanding students. English teachers nominated students and talked about why they chose each student. Parents were also able to say a bit about their students, it was a great morning. Here is the list of students for the month of October:

9th Grade: Ben Berky, Nikolas Taylor, Katelyn Day, & Madison Rowe

8th Grade: Nathan Birch, Joshua Biesinger, Kaitlin Stubbs, Alyssa Orgill, & Tanna Marshall

Mrs. Neumiller is doing some awesome things with her Biology classes. They are looking at organisms that live in pond water under a micropscope. There were some pretty gnarly looking creatures her students saw. They were also examining cells they took from their own mouths, cool stuff!!

• We will be holding our first Parent-Teacher Conference of the school year this Thursday, September 27th from 3:30-8pm in both gyms. No reserved time to meet with teachers is necessary, teachers are at tables in the gyms, just walk up and talk with those you need to visit with. Please either print off your student’s schedule at home or pull it up on your phone when you arrive so you know who to see. Our counseling office will print off schedules for those who need one.
