The Nebo Education Foundation has approved a grant for our very own Mr. Evans in the amount of $200! He will be using the grant to get Utah Atlas books for his classroom. Thanks to the Nebo Foundation and to Mr. Evan's for making it happen!

In the 16 years she has been at this school, Kelly Cole has contributed a great deal to our school. She brought the Latinos in Action program to our students because she saw a need for opportunities. Because she was concerned about paper usage in a school, she started a recycling program. When she decided that our student interventions weren't as successful as they could be, she coordinated a group to create a new system.
During the month of February, we'd like to 'fix you up' with a blind date--a book of course, this is coming from the school library! We'll select a variety of books, wrap them all up in 'oh so secretive' Valentine paper and you won't know the 'identity' of your blind date till you get it home. Will it be fiction or non-fiction? Funny, informative, a mystery, true-crime???
We had such an amazing assembly today! It was put on by the organization Stand 4 Kind. We enjoyed listening to UVU All American wrestler Ben Kjar as he gave an inspirational message about being a Victor not a victim. His message was empowering will impact many of our students for good. We were then treated to the music of an up and coming local band called Foregin Figures. They had our school rock'n out, it was awesome!
