Metal Tooling Art Project

Submitted by mike.sorensen on

In art, students learned about photographer and National Geographic Explorer Joel Sartore. Joel is the founder of the Photo Ark, a groundbreaking effort to document species before they disappear—and to get people to care while there’s still time. Students then used one of Sartore's animal photographs to use as inspiration for their metal tooling project.

Shrek the Musical

Submitted by mike.sorensen on

The DFJHS production of Shrek has been underway for several months now. Teachers, cast, and crew members have been working extremely hard each day after school to be ready for opening night on Wednesday March 20th.  Please come support your students, and if you don’t have any students performing it is a wonderful opportunity for a family activity. It will run on each of the following nights at 7:30pm; Wednesday March 20th, Thursday March 21st, Friday March 22nd, and Saturday March 23rd. We hope to see a packed house each night!

Thanks Mrs. Burr!

We are fortunate to have such an amazing Principal here at Diamond Fork. Mrs. Burr is all about helping kids, whether that means being in Study Hall all day long helping with papers, or getting down on the ground and helping someone pick up/sort papers. We appreciate her for all she does, thanks Mrs. Burr!
