Author Spencer Durrant visits 9th Grade English Classes
Author Spencer Durrant shares his experiences as featured writer in numerous magazines including Field and Steam, American Angler, Sporting Classics, and articles for the NBA. He is teaching students how to find and evaluate credible and effective sources as they write research papers. He emphasizes the opportunities created from being a writer. First Student Snake Pit Meeting!
Welcome to the Pit! Each month teams will send a representative to the Snake Pit meeting which is led by our Student Leadership Class and leadership from other student groups. Students bring school concerns and possible solutions from their teams to the meeting. Student groups will voice these concerns and ways to solve them to the administration. Students have a voice! We want to hear their concerns and ideas!
TEAM Serve Goes to the Krishna Temple
Students on the Team Serve group today went to serve at the Krishna Temple in Salem. They fed and brushed the llamas as well as helped with the grounds.
Choir Sings for Flag Ceremony Today to Begin the Special Education Extravaganza
Our concert choir students sang the Star Spangled Banner and held a flag ceremony today for the special education students in Nebo School District today to begin the extravaganza in honor of 9/11.
Our Team Serve Today Goes to the Legacy House
Students can all sign up for the opportunity to do a service for a group in our community. Students give up an ETime and 20 minites of the following class to go out and serve our community at the Legacy House, Beehvie House, elementary schools, and other community organizations.

Diamond Fork Jr Hosts Special Education Extravaganza!
On September 11, DFJHS once again hosted the Nebo Special Education Extravaganza. It was a great opportunity for students from around the District to come together to learn, grow, socialize and have fun! Thanks to our amazing JoEdan Parker for her wonderful leadership!
DF Student Birthday Parties!
Our character ed class throws a birthday party every Wednesday for students who have birthdays that week. Summer birthdays are celebrated in May. This is a wonderful Diamond Fork tradition that lets every student know they matter!
