Stamping out Unkindness!
In Beginning Art, students carved their own stamps that would spread a kind message. Together students then printed over a 1,000 kind notes and passed them out to share their positive messages.
Give Me A Break! DFJHS new "Break Room" unveiled
Thanks to the hard work of soon-to-be Eagle Scout Sawyer West and his crew (mom, dad and friends), DFJHS has a brand new "Break Room" for students who are in need of a mental health break during the day. The room is available to students who for whatever reason need a few minutes to escape from anxiety, stress, frustration, etc.
Sawyer and his team re-painted the room, provided rugs, plants, a comfortable recliner, calming indirect lighting, and provided several mindfulness devices. Thank you Sawyer!
Why is James Crying? 'Cause He Just Got Dunked On!
The weather is getting crisp, which means it MUST be time for our DFJHS 5-on-5 Intramural Basketball Tournament!
These dedicated, courageous souls are braving the cold, dark mornings to arrive in time for their 7:20 start time each morning. The shots may not always fall, but they are playing hard, having fun and getting some great exercise!

Special Screening of "Screenagers" TONIGHT
Nebo School District and Spanish Fork City have partnered together to offer a special viewing of the film, Screenagers. This event will be held on TONIGHT, October 14th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Spanish Fork High School auditorium. Screenagers is a film that reveals the impact tech time has on kids’ development.

When the Going Gets Tough . . .Proud of DF Cross Country at District Finals
The Diamondback Cross country team finished their great season on Friday at Mt. Nebo Jr High at the District Championships! Congrats to all the runners on competing hard and representing DFJHS with Respect, Courage, Compassion, Integrity and Perseverance.
