DFJHS at Multicultural Conference

Submitted by bart.thompson on

DFJHS sent 70 students to this year's Multicultural Conference held October 7th at Salt Lake Community College.  The DFJHS contingency was the largest group of any schools that participated! Additionally, they were complemented by several adults on how polite and well-dressed our kids were! Way to represent Diamond Fork and our Diamondback Values of Respect, Courage, Compassion, Integrity and Perseverance!

The DFJHS combined Choirs held their Fall Chorus Festival Monday night, and they did not run out of steam! In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad, the choirs wow'ed us with songs of the railroad.  From "John Henry" to "Chatanooga  Choo Choo," they didn't disappoint!  Congrats to Mrs. Lewis and all the amazing voices!

Submitted by bart.thompson on

At Diamond Fork Jr High, we are striving to recognize our amazing students doing amazing things. One way we do that is through our monthly Student of the Month Breakfast. For the month of October, the Science Department nominated 12 amazing students for their great work in science classes. Additionally, our Character Ed class recognized a deserving student as well!  Congrats to these amazing young people:
